Architecture Security
Built into every layer and each aspect of the MGT services suite.
Our commitment is to ensure that all users experience a positive environment, where cheats are deterred and client data is secure.
Key security design components of MGT’s services include:
- A client side facility to handle security, check hardware specs and run checks for cheats and hacks, before and during game/world sessions.
- Automatic installation of game/world updates
- Error messages, or reasons for denying entry, are communicated to the player
- Allows hardware and IP addresses to be barred
- “Single sign-on” allows a user to access all areas of the portal content, without the need for further verification
- All user activity on the portal and any game/world is tracked and recorded to allow a fully auditable collection of user activities. This collects usage statistics which can generate reports to help deal with complaints of abuse.
- Security reports from areas such as pattern matching and exception reporting
- Game/world operator can use MGT’s Session Initiation Manager to:
- Record & manage user credentials and machine ID’s
- Take appropriate action when a player is using a cheat
- Payments require:
- SSL 2048bit RSA keys or AES 256bit (symmetric) encryption
- Users to provide random characters from PIN
- Authorisation from MGT PSP’s and transaction processors
- Card details solely held by accredited financial agents
